KWS Friends

We are a group of parents and carers who work with King William Street School to raise funds, while also offering some fun activities for the children.

If you would like to be kept up to date on what's happening and/or volunteer your ideas or time to help us help the school, we would love to hear from you!

You can get involved as much or as little as you like. We are all busy parents who understand you have stuff to do, so just get in touch if you are interested. Email: admin@kingwilliamstreet.co.uk or pop-in during Coffee and Cake on Friday mornings.

Throughout the year we organise these events:

During our cake sales, you can purchase delicious cakes and biscuits. Any donations of cakes would be welcomed on the day.

Once a term we hold a School Uniform Swap Shop.  Parents are able to pick up clean, used uniform, no fee required, however donations welcome.

If you would like to donate any clean, unwanted uniform, please bring into the school office.

During our gift wraps, each child can buy a gift for their mother or father for a small charge.

At our Christmas Fayre we have games including; 'Where is Santa?', pin the nose on Rudolph, Grinch Skittles and guess the name of the Teddy.

We also have a selection of stalls which include; Lucky Dip, Tombola, second hand toys and cakes. Of course, Father Christmas always pays the children a visit in our Grotto!

Alongside refreshments, there is always a raffle of themed hampers.

These usually take place at Easter, Christmas and the end of the Summer term.
The entrance fee includes drinks, biscuits, sweets, face paining and tattoos.
